The Flow of a Packing Day
Showing up fully supplied, the crew advances one space at a time, beginning in the rarely used rooms and saving the kitchen for last. Each fragile item earns its own padding ahead of ever settling into a carton. Sealed boxes get marked to their room and logged on your inventory as they close, which on the receiving end turns unpacking into an orderly sort rather than a guessing game with anonymous cardboard. Carton bottoms also receive a second band of tape, because around these parts a box tends to ride a chilly tailgate or jounce along a back-road in a pickup bed before it makes it to the door.
What Stays Behind
Perishables, ammunition, hazardous goods and open liquids all remain where they are, since carriers refuse them no matter whose hands sealed the box.
